Chelsea have lost to New castle United 2-0 this Saturday losing the chance to build pressure against Arsenal who is on the top of the Barclays Premier League. Under new manager, Jose Mourinho, Chelsea was able to beat Manchester City 2-1 in EPL and Arsenal 2-0 in the Capital One Cup. Jose Mourinho made a choice of starting 11 and claimed later today that he made 11 mistakes which cost him a game at St. James's Park. On both the goals conceded, Chelsea players were seen helpless and New castle united definitely finished the game.

The first half was slow and both the team rarely hit any shots on goals.The finest attempt was made by John Terry through his heading on 13th minute from Juan Mata's corner kick. After the slow first half, the second half started with the substitution at 53rd minute from the Magpies. Alan Pardew sent Vurnon Anita to replace Cheick Tiote. On the 62nd minute, Mourinho decided to make double substitutions by replacing Juan Mata with Willian and Fernando Torres with Samuel Eto and Pardew replaced Shola Ameobi with Papiss Demba Cisse. Newcastle Utd stroke on 68th minute with the fine heading from Gouffran assisted by Cabaye's curling free kick which created disaster in Chelsea defence several times. Mourinho then replaced Frank Lampard with Andre Schurrle. 10 minutes before the game, Willian fine shot was saved by Krul which was again follow-up by Eto's shot blocked by Debuchy's hand. Four minutes remaining, Hazard fired which was inches away from goal and finally, Loic Remy finished the game with a fine goal past the helpless Cech.

Thoughts:
The starting 11 for Chelsea did not made any serious attempts before and after half time which led to serious counter led by Sissoko and Remy after the half time. Juan Mata and Fernando Torres were played cris-cross which lacked coordination and enough time for play for both the players. Eden Hazard was less influential during this match than the prior match. The 4-2-3-1 formation was successful against Newcastle united only when Willian and Schurrlie made the replacement after half which created few chances for Chelsea. Chelsea conceded second continuous defeat with Alan Pardew's team after the 3-2 defeat from last year in which Sissoko caused the major casualties against Chelsea FC. Chelsea are second on the league table with goal differences and need to find the major form to deserve win against Schalke 04 on November 6 in UCL and West Brom on November 9 in EPL.

Race for invincible!!!!

Manchester City is in their most advancing form recently. They had 18 consecutive wins which was broken by Crystal Palace and almost their dream for being invincible went in vain if the spot kick was converted into a solo goal.
